Our front-line workers are struggling. They need our support in new ways.
Human service workers -- case managers, care aides, nurses, physicians, teachers, etc. -- suffered terribly during the Covid pandemic.
The pandemic may be over, but their exhaustion, burnout, and stress levels are still high.
Health and wellness coaching offers a proven* method for enhancing the coachee's feelings of well-being, increasing self-esteem, and teaching the framework for lasting change.
My 17-year experience as founding executive director of Miriam's House** gives me a unique understanding of and compassion for those who, like you, are serving our most vulnerable citizens. Having earned my certification from Georgetown University's Health and Wellness Coaching Certificate program, I would love to provide affordable health and wellness coaching to your staff members -- individually or in pairs.
I'll work with you on developing an outcomes-based program of 10 or 15 weeks of 45- or 30-minute sessions, with coaching geared to each individual and their own vision for health and well-being. (See HOW IT WORKS)
I trust and believe in my coachees' inner wisdom and self-direction. My coaching is compassionate and goal-oriented: each individual comes away with a detailed understanding of, for example, how to change habits, their vision for their optimal life, a new comprehension of what wellness means to them, and a clear path forward.

"Mrs. Carol helped me to get back on track of self-care by making small change, and sticking with it. I felt excited and happy during each session. Mrs. Carol has a warm heart, and is a great listener.
What I learned during our ten sessions is how to take back control over my life and be consistent with it, and how our brain develops. I'm still taking my lunch every day, eating my salad and drinking water.
And if it's not my mess I won't clean it up.
Thank you, Mrs. Carol for all that you have done for me."
